About This Gig
Homepage backlinks are links placed on the front page of another website, the page that usually carries most of that site’s link equity. Because almost every internal page links back to the homepage, and most external links point at it, a link there sits about as close to a site’s authority as you can get. This gig gets you dofollow links on the homepages of real, relevant sites that we’ve checked by hand.
We want to be upfront about one thing before anything else, because many sellers aren’t. Homepage space is limited. Plenty of sites rotate homepage links on a schedule, or list recent posts on the front page so older items slide off as new ones are published. A homepage link is often a placement for an agreed term, not forever. We tell you which kind you’re getting before you approve it.
How Homepage Backlinks Differ From Other Links
A guest post or niche edit lives on an inner page, usually permanently. Homepage links trade some of that permanence for position. You get a link on the strongest page of the domain, often with more referral exposure, but on many sites it stays for a defined period.
There are also two broad placement types, and they’re not equal:
- Sidebar or footer blocks. Resource, partner or featured-link sections. These are easier to secure. On some themes the same block appears sitewide, which we flag, because a sitewide link with a commercial anchor can look unnatural.
- In-content homepage placement. A link inside an editorial block or introduction on the homepage itself. Harder to get and usually stronger, since it sits in real text rather than a list of links.
If permanence matters more to you than position, an inner-page placement through our niche edit services may be the better spend. We’d rather say that than sell you the wrong product.
Our Vetting and Placement Routine
Every site offering homepage backlinks gets looked at by a person before it reaches you. We check:
- Organic traffic over the last six months, so a domain that lost most of its visibility recently doesn’t slip through on old metrics.
- How many outbound links the homepage already carries. A front page with thirty paid links in the footer is a link farm, whatever its DA says.
- Topical overlap between the site and your target page. A recipe blog linking to a payroll tool helps nobody.
- Whether the homepage rotates, how often, and how the owner handles placements when they do.
- The agreed term and position, confirmed in writing with the site owner before we propose the site to you.
Once a placement is agreed, we add the link with your chosen anchor, confirm it’s dofollow and visible in the page source, and record the date so the term can be tracked.
Who Should Order Homepage Links
Homepage backlinks suit brands that want strong, visible links from sites in their own sector: software companies, ecommerce stores, local service firms, publishers and agencies working on behalf of clients. They work well as part of a mix rather than the whole strategy. A profile made only of homepage links is unusual and easy to spot, so we’d normally pair them with in-article links over time.
They are less suited to a brand-new site with few pages, or to anyone who needs every link to remain indefinitely without exception. Homepage backlinks also make little sense when the host site has a different audience from yours; a big number on a tool does not change who reads the page.
Comparing the Three Packages
Basic gives you one homepage link on a DA 30+ site, typically in a sidebar or footer block, with a minimum term of 6 months. You see the position and term before placement, and delivery takes around 5 days.
Standard covers three links on DA 40+ sites in about 7 days. Placements are sidebar or in-content, depending on what each site offers, and you approve the site list first. The 6-month minimum term still applies.
Premium is five DA 50+ homepage backlinks placed inside homepage content rather than link blocks. For each site we negotiate the longest term the owner will offer, including permanent placement where a site allows it, and we state the result clearly so there’s no guessing. You also get an anchor text plan to keep the five links varied. Delivery is roughly 10 days.
Information We Need
- Target URL, usually your own homepage or a main service page
- Preferred anchors; branded anchors are the safest choice for homepage placements
- Your niche and any sites or competitors to avoid
- Whether you’d accept sidebar positions or want in-content only
What We Refuse to Do
No PBN homepages, no link farms, no sites with pages of unrelated paid links, no auto-generated content and no hidden links styled to be invisible. We won’t sell you a “permanent homepage link” on a site we know rotates. We also avoid exact-match commercial anchors in sitewide blocks, because that pattern tends to cause more harm than good. Full details sit on our quality standards page.
Every placement in this gig has an agreed term of at least 6 months, and if a link is removed within 6 months, we replace it free. When a term ends and a site rotates a link off as agreed, that’s the expected end of the placement rather than a removal, and we’ll tell you the date in advance in your report.
Your Report
You get each homepage URL, a note of where on the page the link sits, the anchor used, the target page, the domain’s authority at placement, the start date and the agreed term or permanent status.
What to Expect
High DA homepage backlinks can carry real weight, but search engines take time to recrawl and reassess. Effects typically show over weeks to a few months and depend heavily on your own content and competition. We make no ranking guarantees. If you’d like help deciding where homepage links fit in your wider plan, get in touch before ordering.
Every order follows Google’s spam policies for links: no private blog networks, no automated content and no hidden links.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are homepage links permanent?
Not always, and we say so before you buy. Many sites rotate homepage links or push older items down as they publish. Every placement in this gig has an agreed term of at least 6 months, shown to you before placement. Premium aims for the longest term each site offers, including permanent placement where a site allows it.
What happens when a placement term ends?
If the site rotates the link off at the end of its agreed term, that’s the planned end of the placement, not a removal. Your report lists each start date and term so nothing comes as a surprise. If you’d like to extend, we can ask the site owner, or replace it with a new placement as a fresh order.
What if a link disappears early?
If a link is removed within 6 months, we replace it free with a homepage placement of similar authority and relevance. Send us the original URL from your report and we’ll arrange it. Because every placement in this gig carries a minimum 6-month term, any early removal is covered by that policy.
Sidebar or in-content: which is better?
In-content homepage placement is usually stronger because the link sits within editorial text rather than a list of links. It’s also harder to secure, which is why it’s standard in Premium. Sidebar and footer blocks still pass value, but on some themes they show sitewide, so we recommend branded anchors there.
Is a sitewide link risky?
It can be when paired with an exact-match commercial anchor, because hundreds of identical links look manufactured. We flag any placement that appears sitewide before you approve it and suggest branded or URL anchors for those. Used carefully and alongside in-article links, they’re a normal part of a link profile.
Are the homepage links dofollow?
Yes. We check the attribute in the page source when the link goes live and record it in your report. If a site later changes it or removes the link within 6 months, we replace it free. Beyond that, we can’t control third-party sites indefinitely, so we keep the policy clear and limited.
What should I link to?
Most clients point homepage backlinks at their own homepage or a main service page, with a branded anchor. That looks natural and supports the whole domain. Linking to a deep product page with a keyword anchor is possible, but it’s less common on homepages, so we’d normally suggest an in-article link for that instead.
How soon will rankings move?
Usually over weeks to a few months, once search engines recrawl the host pages and reassess your site. Competitive niches take longer, and on-page quality matters just as much. We don’t guarantee positions or traffic. We guarantee clear placements on vetted sites, disclosed terms and an honest report.
