About This Gig
Every real business leaves a trail. It has a few social accounts, a profile on the platforms where its customers hang out, maybe a page on a business network or a portfolio site. A brand-new website usually has none of that, and its link profile looks thin and odd as a result. Our foundation backlinks service fills in that trail by hand, using your brand name, logo and description on established platforms.
We want to be straight about what these are. Most social and business profiles give nofollow links. They will not pass much ranking power, and they will not get you to page one by themselves. Their job is different: they tell search engines that your brand exists beyond its own domain, they make your branded searches look tidy, and they give your later editorial links a natural-looking base to sit on.
What Foundation Backlinks Actually Do for a Site
Think of them as the groundwork. When a site with no history suddenly picks up five guest posts with exact-match anchors, that pattern looks manufactured. When the same site already has dozens of brand-name and naked-URL mentions from profiles, the link profile reads much more like a normal company. That is the main value.
A small set of foundation backlinks also protects you if you ever get hit with spammy links from elsewhere, because your profile already has a clear, branded core that does not depend on a few keyword-heavy links. There are smaller benefits too. Someone searching your brand sees your own profiles instead of a stranger’s. Google has more sources confirming your name, logo and website. And you claim your handle on platforms before someone else does.
The Three Types of Profiles We Build
Social profiles
Accounts on well-known social and community platforms, completed properly: profile picture, cover image where supported, bio, website link and consistent brand name. Half-empty accounts help nobody, so we fill in every field the platform offers.
Business profiles
Listings on business networks, startup databases, company directories and professional platforms. These carry a little more context about what you do and who you serve, which is useful for brand signals.
Branded properties
On Premium, we also set up branded mini-sites, wiki-style pages and blog properties on free hosting platforms, each with an introductory post about your business. These are small, but they hold more content and look like genuine brand assets rather than one-line bios.
How We Work
- You send your brand name, website, logo, a cover image if you have one, and a paragraph about the business.
- We check which usernames are free and settle on one handle to use everywhere, so your profiles match.
- We choose platforms that are active, indexed and relevant to a business like yours. A B2B software firm and a bakery get a different mix.
- Our team creates each profile manually, writes the bio, uploads images and confirms email verification.
- We use your brand name or plain URL as the link text. No keyword anchors on profiles, ever. That is how a real company’s profiles look.
- You receive a report with every profile URL and the login details.
How Foundation Backlinks Differ From Directory Spam
People sometimes lump foundation backlinks in with the old “500 profile links for $5” offers. They are not the same thing. Those offers create empty accounts on forums and directories nobody visits, often with keyword usernames and no images. Many are deleted within weeks, and the rest sit unindexed. A properly built profile has a real name, a real logo, a written bio and sits on a platform where people are actually active. Fewer profiles, built well, will always beat a big number built badly.
We also spread the work out sensibly. Profiles are created across the delivery window rather than in a single hour, which is how a real team would set them up.
Picking the Right Package
Basic creates 15 social profiles with a short bio and brand-name links, delivered in about 4 days. It is the minimum set we would want any new site to have.
Standard builds 30 profiles across social and business platforms, with a full bio, logo and cover image on each. Delivery takes around 6 days. For most new sites this is the sensible middle ground.
Premium creates 50 profiles across all three types: social, business and branded properties such as mini-sites and wikis. Each gets full branding, and the branded properties get an introductory post. Delivery is about 8 days. If you plan to run a serious link campaign afterwards, this gives it the widest base.
Who Should Order This
- New websites and freshly launched brands with no off-site presence yet.
- Sites about to start a guest post or niche edit campaign that want a natural anchor mix first.
- Businesses that rebranded and need profiles under the new name.
- Agencies onboarding a new client who want the groundwork done before strategy kicks in.
If your site is already established with a healthy spread of links, foundation backlinks will add very little. Spend the money on guest posting or pick something specific from our backlinks store instead.
What We Need From You
- Brand name exactly as you want it shown, and your website URL.
- Logo (square works best) and a cover or banner image if you have one.
- A short description of the business, your audience and your location.
- A preferred username, or let us pick one that is available.
- An email address for account creation, or permission for us to create one for the project.
What We Refuse to Do
No software-generated profile blasts. No throwaway accounts on dead forums that were abandoned years ago. No spammy profile pages stuffed with keywords. No PBNs dressed up as branded properties. Profiles are only valuable if they look like they belong to a real business, so we build them the way your own team would if it had the time. You can read more about our process on the how it works page.
At Delivery
You get a spreadsheet with each profile’s platform, URL, link type, and login credentials. Profiles still awaiting platform approval are marked. You own the accounts, so you can post from them, update the bio or hand them to your social media team.
A Realistic View
Foundation backlinks are a first step, not a strategy on their own. Expect cleaner branded search results and a more natural link profile, not ranking jumps. Some platforms take weeks to index new profiles, and a few may never be indexed at all, which is normal. Pair them with relevant editorial links over the following months and they do exactly what they are meant to do.
Every order follows Google’s spam policies for links: no private blog networks, no automated content and no hidden links.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are foundation backlinks dofollow?
Mostly no. Social and business profile links are nofollow on the majority of platforms, and we say that upfront. Their value lies in brand signals, branded search results and a natural anchor mix, not in passing link equity. A few platforms and branded properties do give followed links, but we do not promise a specific number of them.
Will these links improve my rankings?
Not directly in any big way, and we will not pretend otherwise. Foundation backlinks make your link profile look like a real business, which makes later editorial links safer and more effective. Think of them as groundwork. Rankings come from relevant, authoritative links and good content over time, built on top of this base.
Why don't you use keyword anchors on profiles?
Because real companies don't. A business's social and directory profiles link with its brand name or plain website address. Keyword anchors on dozens of profiles is a classic spam pattern that search engines recognise. Using brand and URL anchors keeps your profile natural and leaves room for keyword-relevant anchors on your editorial links later.
Do I get the login details?
Yes. Every profile we create is listed in your delivery report with the platform name, profile URL and login credentials. The accounts are yours. You can post on them, change the bio, swap images or hand them to whoever runs your social media. We recommend changing passwords once you receive them.
What are branded properties?
Branded properties are small sites or pages under your brand name on free platforms, such as hosted blogs, wiki-style pages and simple site builders. They hold more content than a profile bio, so we add an introductory post about your business. They are included only in the Premium package and act as extra brand assets in search results.
How soon are profiles indexed?
Some are indexed within days, others take several weeks, and a small share may never be indexed by Google. That varies by platform and is outside anyone's control. We choose platforms that are active and commonly indexed, but we do not run indexing tools or ping services that create spammy footprints.
Is this suitable for an established website?
Usually it adds little. If your site already has a few years of history and a broad spread of brand mentions, foundation backlinks won't change much. You would get more value from guest posts, niche edits or digital PR. If you rebranded recently, though, new profiles under the new name are worth having.
